COMPANY INTRODUCTION

We would like to thank you for giving us this opportunity to introduce Isometric Personnel and our services to you.

Isometric Personnel was established in April 1998 by skilled Permanent and Labour consultants with a view to provide a professional, personal service linked to a more competitive fee structure. We pride ourselves in specializing in top calibre permanent, temporary and contract employees across the board.

Isometric Personnel was originally formed to provide our clients with top quality permanent employees. However it has become apparent that there is a growing trend towards short-term temporary and contract employment. This concept has proved to be extremely successful all over the world in general and provides for flexibility for the candidates and enables employers to down size or up size the complement of their staff in line with current market trends. To this end Isometric Personnel offer carefully screened staff at competitive rates and at the same time will comply with all the requirements as laid down by the new labour legislation.

Isometric Personnel is registered with the MEIBC and MICFA bargaining councils and complies with all the legislation laid down by the Main Agreement. This protects our clients, should they have an audit by the MEIBC or MICFA (Motor Industry). In order to run legally with any future clients that don’t fall under the MEIBC or the MICFA, we are open to registering with the other bargaining councils.

Isometric Personnel use only the latest technology in wage administration to ensure that all of the contractors that we employ are paid correctly and on time and we pride ourselves on the fact that we have had minimal to no problems in the past with contractors not being paid.

Isometric Personnel’s motto is “WITH SERVICE WE SUCCEED”, and we believe that our service to both you the client and the candidate will be our success. Finding the right person for the right position in the right company is what we strive to do.

Isometric Personnel’s fee is a standard percentage of 12.5 % of a candidate’s annual package, (including 13th cheque, various allowances, bonuses and a company vehicle) with a standard guarantee period offered to each client on acceptance of our permanent candidates. We are proud of the way that we advertise, screen and present our candidates, only the most suitable applicants will be put forward according to certain job requirements. We screen and reference check our candidates before professional, comprehensive CV’s are submitted. We are open to networking with other personnel agencies to ensure that the match made is one of the best.

Should the client take on one of our contract employees on a permanent basis our placement fee will be reduced by 1% per month, therefore after 12 months our candidate will be placed free of charge. Should another agency for whatever reason take over our contractor a full placement fee will be charged.

We at Isometric Personnel are bent on supplying you with the right candidates for the right positions, ensuring solid, happy and long working relationships with our clients, and solid successful relationships for you and your staff.

COST ANALYSIS – PERMANENT & TEMPORARY STAFF

When it comes to prices, no one wants to pay more than is necessary for hiring of staff. More and more South African agencies increase their rates and get too expensive to hire staff through. This is why Isometric Personnel has come up with a solution…

Our fee to each of our clients is a standard fixed percentage across the board of the candidate’s annual package including any relevant bonuses and any guaranteed allowances. Which means that no matter what position we are working on, be it junior or “top level management”, you pay what is necessary and no more. We offer a guarantee period on acceptance of any of our permanent candidates. Temporary Staff rates are discussed and finalized with the clients and we charge a per hourly rate. We have a comprehensive price list detailing all costs and markups for the supply of contractors. Isometric Personnel has the facility enabling you to take staffers on a contract (probation) basis for a period of three to six months, where we would handle all the necessary legal documentation and payments, and the placement fee will be negotiated after the probation period. We have found that this is becoming more popular among the larger companies and has proved to be very successful. Should the candidate not work out over the probation period, we end their contract with reasonable and acceptable terms. Isometric Personnel’s standard Terms & Conditions are attached.

CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT

Many companies and labour brokers are working under the misconception that a flat rate applies to independent contractors. Under the Main Agreement it clearly states that although companies can employ on a contract basis, they must abide by the rules and regulations of the above Act. This includes overtime rates, leave pay, leave bonuses and public holidays.

At the moment the MEIBC are doing a full investigation into all companies who employ contractors through labour brokers, and should they not comply with the Main Agreement, both the labour broker and its client will be held jointly and severely liable for the compliance of this act.

Isometric Personnel is registered with the UIF, PAYE, Workmans Compensation, Regional Services Council, and also with the Skills and Development Act of 1998.

Isometric Personnel have a large database of skilled and semi-skilled Artisans, and we believe that our workforce is the backbone of our business and its success.

Isometric Personnel is therefore proud of our active participation in Skills Development training. Through the Skills Development Act we provide training to our staff that is not only job specific, but also contributes to our social responsibility to our employees
